INTERSOS’ INTERVENTION

To improve the living conditions of populations in crisis contexts, we intervene to ensure access to clean water and sanitation and to train in their proper use. Specifically, we deal with:

• Chlorination of water to make it drinkable.
• Ensuring clean water and sanitation to communities affected by natural disasters, through the construction or rehabilitation of wells, latrines, water systems.
• Awareness-raising activities on hygiene practices with the aim of preventing and combating the spread of diseases.
• Training courses and awareness-raising campaigns on the use and maintenance of the services provided, to promote self-sufficiency in the management of water resources.
