INTERSOS’ INTERVENTION

We contribute to covering the basic needs of populations affected by humanitarian crises through the distribution of basic food and ensuring livelihoods. Specifically, we deal with:

• Providing tools for agricultural production, distributing seeds and livestock for subsistence.
• Providing technical training on agricultural practices to improve crop yields and increase the benefits of farming or fishing.
• Infrastructure interventions such as the construction of markets to support the economy of the affected areas.
• Promoting agricultural and livestock activities to ensure the sustainable return of IDPs and refugees to their areas of origin.
