INTERSOS INTERVENTION
INTERSOS team in Greece continues to disseminate information regularly through social workers individual sessions, Health and Hygiene sessions conducted by INTERSOS protection officers focusing on prevention, maintaining high standard of hygiene in common areas and referrals pathways for individuals showing potential COVID-19 symptoms. We disseminate information also through child-friendly material and as part of the socio-educational program implemented in the Agia Eleni facility by INTERSOS implementing partner Second Tree volunteers. General hygiene sessions in the Agia Eleni facility are implemented with the support of volunteers to sensitize young participants in the community to maintain high standards of hygiene in the entire facility. In the Agia Eleni facility, the common spaces previously re-converted to the potential isolation rooms are still active and regularly sanitized to boost preparedness in view of a possible second-wave in the pandemic.
