Three years since the outbreak of hostilities between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Sudan has descended into a humanitarian catastrophe, triggering the <\/span>world\u2019s largest displacement crisis<\/b>. Today, <\/span>14 million people<\/b><\/a> have been forced to flee their homes, with one in four Sudanese citizens now displaced.<\/span><\/p>\n

The collapse of essential infrastructure is nearly total; less than a quarter of health facilities remain functional in conflict-affected areas, while a devastating <\/span>cholera<\/b> outbreak continues to claim thousands of lives. The nation is being hit by a famine that now threatens <\/span>28.9 million people<\/span><\/a> with acute <\/span>food insecurity<\/b>. In parts of North Darfur, Global Acute Malnutrition (GAM) rates have reached 53%<\/span> of the population, signaling a systemic threat to the survival of an entire generation.<\/span><\/p>\n

As world leaders gather today for the Berlin Conference on Sudan, the international community faces a decisive moment. This summit must not result in mere rhetoric, but in concrete commitments to stop the ongoing atrocities and address the huge scale of human suffering.<\/span><\/p>\n
