If you share the values of solidarity, justice and dignity for everyone, if you believe in equal rights and opportunies for all people:
BECOME AN ACTIVIST FOR INTERSOS.
Being an activist means being on the front line and fighting for a better world in defense of the most vulnerable, like women and children who are victims of war, violence and natural disasters.
The Local Committees of INTERSOS are groups of ACTIVISTS that volunteer their time and effort, choosing to stand with us on the front line to help promote INTERSOS’ campaigns in Italy.
They are comprised of volunteers who commit to sharing their motivation, passion, experience and expertise in order to sensitize our society and effect change in the world.
Our Committees are spontaneous, self-managed, independent and open to anyone.
Our Committees organize awareness events and fundraisers: thematic meetings, book presentations, film projections, photographic exhibitions, seminars, cocktail receptions, solidarity dinners, and other activities to gather signatures and support.
Our Committees promote the mission and activities of INTERSOS with info desks, information packets and materials and socially responsible merchandise in a variety of contexts.
Our Committees organize testimonial events with professionals returning from humanitarian missions, involving them in the group’s operations.
Our Committees create a network with local press, academics, scientists, associations and entities.
Our Committees schedule periodic encounters for self-directed education, management and development of new Activists.
