RWANDA
INTERSOS was present
in Rwanda in 1994 and 1995.
INTERSOS began its
activities in Rwanda immediately following the genocide which started
in April 1994. Activities focused on the rehabilitation of health
structures (health centres and hospitals), schools and repatriation
assistance for refugees from Burundi and Zaire (now the Democratic
Republic of Congo).
