DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO
INTERSOS was present
in Congo from 1997 to 1998.
INTERSOS first entered
the Democratic Republic of Congo after the collapse of Mobutu regime,
which fragmented the territory. INTERSOS
intervened to give immediate assistance to the emergency needs of
the population, through rehabilitation of health and education structures
in the Kivu region.
