HONDURAS

INTERSOS worked in Honduras in 1998 and 1999.

Following Hurricane Mitch, INTERSOS began operations in Honduras by assisting the affected population, supporting the displaced people and helping to create new settlements for the population, as an alternative to the destroyed areas. These housing areas were structurally designed to avoid similar disasters in the future.
